CU TRANSLATIONS was born from a deep love for words in all their forms. Words are a powerful tool in the hands of those who know how to use them and the essence of every human activity. Having worked all her life in a multilingual and multicultural context, the founder, Cipolla Annalisa, has decided to make words her daily toil. Hence the idea of founding a company at the service of words, in all their applications. And Switzerland, with its multiple languages, promotion of diversity and unparalleled wealth, was the obvious country of choice.

Born and raised in Italy, Cipolla Annalisa spent her school years and the first two years of university between Lecco and Milan. In 2003, she set off for an Erasmus at the University of Translation and Interpreting of Geneva. Her professional growth in the international city of Geneva led her to choose Switzerland as her land of adoption. With four national languages, this country is a true paradise for any language lover. Since she completed her university studies, Cipolla Annalisa has always worked in international contexts, first for the UN and CERN in Geneva, and later for the Federal Department of Economic Affairs and the Federal Chancellery in Bern. For over twelve years now, she has been working as a freelance translator for both the public and private sectors.
